Chronic heart failure (CHF) is the only cardiovascular disease with an increasing hospitalization burden and significant health care expenditures. It is a complex syndrome that affects approximately 5.1 million Americans with an estimated 670,000 new cases diagnosed each year. It is the leading cause of hospitalization in the elderly. Although important progress has been made in the management of heart failure, this condition remains a common cause of morbidity and death. This webinar will review the latest guideline recommendations for the management of chronic heart failure.
